We know that traditional interviews can be a bit scary, particularly when they are some of your first and you don’t have a heap of experience to talk about! That’s why our process is designed to bring out your innate strengths and competencies in a fun, inspiring and supportive way. You can be more relaxed and enjoy yourself through the process and we learn so much more about you – it’s a win-win!

This is a two-way street – we want to show you who we are too!

These are some big life decisions you are making right now and you want to get it right! While there’s plenty you can learn about an industry and company online, nothing beats seeing it for yourself and hearing from those who are living and breathing what is next for you. This is why our process is as much about us showcasing our industry as it is figuring you out! You will hear from industry experts from a range of diverse roles as they dig deep into what they do, what they love and what their futures look like, so you get a real understanding of what’s going to float your boat and give you the best start for a successful future.

We support you for 6 months after placement.

Our commitment to our candidates and clients is an ongoing relationship. We know how important that first few months of your new career is, and we are there to help you navigate it like a pro. You will be paired with an industry maestro, a coach and mentor extraordinaire who will act as your personal career guide. Whether you want to learn how to build your personal brand internally or need some help in navigating a tricky conversation with your leader – we are there to coach you through it. As industry leaders, we have been there and done that, and we want to help you find your place authentically and thrive.

The Flaunt process

Virtual Conversation

Once you have applied to our program or for a specific role, we will have an initial phone call to talk you through the process and understand whether we will be a good match. If so, we kick off the process with a more in-depth virtual conversation. Designed to unearth your core competencies, this will be our first step to understanding where you may find your perfect home within the media landscape. If the feelings are all mutual, we will invite you to the next exciting step in the process… our Discovery Day!

Discovery Day

Now is your time to shine in an event like no other! Within a group of like-minded candidates (and hopefully future colleagues!), you will spend 3 hours learning about the industry, hearing from inspiring experts, showing us who you are and simply having a great time!

With an afternoon of high energy presentations, group discussions, Q&As, team tasks, collaborative exercises and that all important mix and mingle – you will gain the deepest knowledge of the industry and where you see your future heading, whilst we will be able to find you the best-fit roles for who you are and what you have demonstrated you can do.

Putting you at ease is our utmost priority as we know you can showcase who you are way better when you are relaxed and excited. Be your authentic self, take an active part in the afternoon and we will do the rest…

Final Interview and Placement

After the high of the Discovery Day it’s time to get down to business. Everyone who attends will receive full feedback, direction and guidance on next steps.

With such a comprehensive process already completed, when we put you in front of one of our employer partners, most of the ‘hard work’ has already been done. We will be so confident in your capability and fit for the future of their businesses that this last meeting with employers will be a final box tick rather than yet another lengthy process. Informed with everything we have uncovered about you from the Flaunt process, this last stage will be done in a flash and before you know it, you will be wondering what to wear on your first day!

Coaching

There is a lot to learn in a new role… especially when it’s your first. From figuring out who everyone is and what they do, to learning the internal systems, from getting to grips with industry measurement to getting your head around one hell of a lot of acronyms! That first 6 months will fly by and with so much to learn its vital to find time for your own reflection, development and to identify who you want to be and how you want to grow. With Flaunt, you will access 4 hour-long sessions with you own personal coach. This time is your time, to use completely as you wish with learning, growth and development always the priority. Employees who have a mentor are promoted 5 times more often than those who don’t so hold your Flaunt coach close and before you know it you will be recruiting for your own teams!
